The British empire consisted of almost 23% of the world’s population and 24% world’s total area. With over 412 million people, British empire was spread over the Commonwealth nations. Commonwealth countries are a group of 16 countries which included United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Jamaica and etc.
The story of Queen Elizabeth 2, the world’s oldest reigning monarch as well as Britain’s longest lived, is rather fascinating. Recently in 2015, she surpassed the reign of Queen Victoria to become the longest reigning British Monarch and the longest reigning Queen in the world History. Also, in February 2017, she celebrated her Sapphire Jubilee.
